Code of Conduct

  • Doing Business the VWR International Way - a Code of Ethics and Conduct provides the essential guidelines to our employee
  • It is an obligation to comply with the law and to advise our management of anything that is not in compliance with the law

OHSAS 18001

Since 2009, VWR has been implementing the Health & Safety management system OHSAS 18001:2007, with a goal to have this implemented in all European sites. Main countries have been certified : Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom. Certification planning underway : Portugal & Hungary (2013).

Reduction of Accidents

  • Every manager in VWR International has a personal objective to lower the accidents in his area of responsibility by 10% each year
