The VWR® glass and solid door stainless steel laboratory refrigerators are purpose built for scientific and medical applications.
- Stainless steel construction
- HFC-free refrigerants
- Remote alarm functions
- Precise microprocessor temperature controller
Units feature a digital microprocessor temperature controller that allows for the precise temperature management necessary for critical samples and supplies
HFC-free refrigerants (or refrigerants not containing hydrofluorocarbons) vastly reduce the Global Warming Potential (GWP) and eliminate any potential for ozone depletion previously caused by the use of HFC-based refrigerants.
Remote alarm contacts enable end users to link these units into existing alarm systems to notify appropriate personnel of alarm events as soon as possible. Forced-draft air circulation keeps cold air moving throughout the cabinet to ensure superior temperature uniformity and recovery after door openings. The cycle-defrost design allows for the self-maintenance necessary in all refrigerators to keep evaporator coils from freezing; but without the product-damaging spikes in temperature stemming from auto-defrost cycles. Height does not include 127 mm for casters.
A forced air directional refrigeration system provides superior temperature uniformity and recovery after door openings. An automatic cycle-defrost design prevents product damaging temperature spikes. Multi-point temperature mapping via NIST traceable data acquisition, 15 probes in air and 3 probes in sample solution for 360 minutes with temperature readings every 60 seconds
Certifications: UL/C-UL listed.
Delivery information: Units are supplied with a three-year parts and labor warranty, with an additional two years on compressor parts.
